There is more to it than meets the eye and specific settings MUST be applied in order to comply with University policy.

Important  Please note the requirements for administering unsupervised online tests which are automatically computer-marked. These standards are designed to reduce the threat to the validity of student scores and are outlined below:

Important  For the creation of new questions sets there are several specific requirements for formatting both the questions and the file you will need to supply to HEDU for import.

• Remove auto-numbering See here for how to remove formatting in Word or make use of a plain text application such as Notepad (where you can construct your questions in plain text and then paste them back into Word).

Please allow AT LEAST 14 DAYS for processing. This will also provide a little bit of time to sort out any issues and for you to check the quiz once it has been created and before students undertake it.
